The MIT EnergyHack 2021 presents opportunities for individuals from around the nation to come together and address challenges presented by companies in the clean energy and climate space. The event will take place from 5pm EST Friday, November 12, to 5pm EST Sunday, November 14, in a hybrid format, and welcomes both team and individual participants (individual participants will be placed into teams) to apply.
The EnergyHack features cash awards (up to $2000) for winning teams, and has grouped the challenge statements into four categories – business (business model generation, business strategy development, consumer markets and behavior analysis, pricing or technology strategy), planning (economic and resource planning, energy systems thinking), and energy storage (batteries, electric vehicles, material science), and data (blockchain, Internet of Things, machine learning).
The application deadline for the EnergyHack is October 22, 2021 at 11:59pm EDT, and the application link can be accessed here. To learn more about the opportunity, visit the MIT EnergyHack website, or reach out to email@example.com with any questions.
