Make plans now to join us on April 8, 2022 for pitch: A competition for Black founders, an event that is intentionally designed to help reduce the barriers and friction to connecting with investors and experts. During pitch, student-founders and recent alumni from across the US will have the opportunity to showcase their businesses to investors who are committed to investing in Black founders and Black-led high-growth businesses.

Featuring two tracks to better match companies and investors:

Idea Track: Pre-MVP/Pre-Revenue teams that have done customer validation work on an idea and are looking for coaching and advice but may not be ready for venture investment

Traction Track: Companies that have an MVP and/or revenue that validates a business model with potential for high growth and signals readiness for venture investment

Fuqua Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the School of Business at North Carolina Central University are co-promoters of pitch, in partnership with the Duke Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative and Resilient Ventures.
