The Marketing department develops and implements creative marketing campaigns including advertising, social media, and bookstore displays. Marketers work closely with sales to learn whatโs happening in the market and, to help them promote and share their enthusiasm about books and writers.
Some responsibilities may include:
- Researching new media contacts, influencer, and brand partnerships for title marketing campaigns
- Collaborating with the team to create content for author and imprint social media platforms
- Assisting in select marketing book mailings (remotely)
- Attending team meetings to help brainstorm promotional opportunities for titles

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM DETAILS
Penguin Random House offers an immersive 20-week PAID, REMOTE internship opportunity in the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026, available in our adult, childrenโs, and corporate divisions. Interns will have the opportunity to learn how to create marketing book campaigns, projects to develop skills in marketing books and receive robust training from our marketing teams to support professional growth. Our interns are also exposed to the publishing process and our business through panels, networking events, and a mentoring program!
What you study does not matter! We are looking for your desire to work with books, your drive to learn and your curiosity for the publishing industry.

2025 Canon Insights Summer Internship
Canon U. S. A., Inc. is currently hiring for our 2025 Canon Insights Internship Program. The program will be held from Monday, June 2, 2025 – Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
Canon is an innovative global digital imaging leader that uses technology to dissolve the barriers we face in the connections we build, the experiences we create, and even the lives we live. We are looking for passionate and experienced students to join the Canon USA team. This is a paid summer internship 10-week robust experience based in our Melville, New York Headquarters.
What Youโll Do:
– You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience by participating in significant work projects that help you learn, develop business skills, and provide a meaningful contribution to Canon’s business and goals.
– You will be exposed to world-class teams and our business, marketing, and strategy initiatives through training, meetings, presentations, and other planned activities.
– Youโll gain marketable skills and knowledge that youโll need in transitioning into the workforce.
– Youโll come to the office 3 days a week and 2 days with the option to work from home (unless a specific business need arises requiring in-office attendance on other days). This position offers a hybrid work schedule on full-time (9 AM โ 5 PM) schedule based on a 35-hour work week. Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.
