The International Student Career Course, created by the Duke Career Center and Duke International Student Center, is a self-paced, on-demand course designed to provide essential information and resources in one place. We know that navigating the U.S. job market can be overwhelming, so we’ve made it easy to access important information and resources in one place.
Through a series of short, informative videos, you’ll learn about:
- Work authorization regulations (CPT & OPT for F-1 students)
- U.S. hiring practices and job search strategies
- How to discuss your visa status with employers
- Career Center resources to support your journey
This course is completely self-paced, so you can go through the content whenever it fits your schedule. Plus, it’s available throughout your Duke career, so you can revisit it anytime you need guidance.
