Duke in New York: Creative Industries Program Applications Now Live!

Applications are now open to join the Fall 2026 cohort of the Duke in New York: Creative Industries program. Students work 15-20 hours per week in creative industries—for museums, galleries, magazines, and publishers; and in film, television, theater, dance, and music production—as they earn four academic credits. Duke in New York classes are variously cross-listed to departments and programs including Art History, Cinematic Arts, Dance, English, Journalism, Music, Theater, and Visual & Media Studies.

Questions are welcomed by faculty director, Darren Gobert, who can be reached at rdg37@duke.edu

The application, details, and student testimonials are available here: https://my.globaled.duke.edu/_portal/tds-program-brochure?programid=10214
