Stanback Fellowship Program Now Accepting Applications

Applications for 2026 Stanback Fellowship Program are now being accepted through Handshake. This first round of applications will continue to be open for undergraduate and graduate students through Thursday, January 29th at 12 noon ET.

The Stanback Fellowship Program is a partnership between the Nicholas School of the Environment and non-profit environmental organizations. The purpose of the program is to provide students with significant project-based learning experiences in energy, conservation, advocacy, policy, research and applied resource management.

The program is made possible by the generous support of Fred and Alice Stanback.

Stanback fellowship positions can be found in Handshake by navigating to the Jobs tab and entering “Stanback” into the keyword search. The CPDC has also curated a Stanback Fellowship Program Handshake collection where all 2026 Stanback positions can be found.
