We’re back at the top of another academic year. Phew… time really flies. Whether you’re returning to campus, continuing your search after graduation, or exploring opportunities more broadly, now is a good time to take stock of your approach before these early career recruiting begins.
✅ Expand: If your search has started to feel repetitive, expand where you’re looking. Try something like “[industry] + Job Boards,” explore professional associations, or identify organizations in your field and bookmark their careers pages.
✅ Prepare: Recruiting season is around the corner for many industries. The Fall Career Fair will be here before you know it. Set some time to update your resume, LinkedIn profile, and practice your elevator pitch.
✅ Explore: Tap into one of the nine Career Communities pages. You’ll find up-to-date blogs, career insights, Jobs/Internships and other helpful resources.
✅ Audit: What’s one thing you’ve been avoiding because it feels uncomfortable? No judgement from me. Pick one thing and try making it your focus this week.
