Applications for the 2026-27 academic year are now open. Applications are due by September 21st and pairings will be announced by October 9th.
Duke Arts Studio offers creative and professional support for undergraduate student projects in the fields of arts, entertainment and media. Duke students from any department with a creative project in early or mid-stages can apply to be paired with an industry alum or community member in a related field. Students with projects in final or finished stages are not eligible to apply. The mentees will form a cohort that meets for monthly meals and professional practices seminars. Each mentee/mentor pair will create their own sets of goals and meeting schedule. (Typical time commitment is 10hrs/month including cohort meetings.) At the end of the spring semester, the cohort will make a public presentation of their projects’ progress.
Duke Arts Studio was originally StudioDuke, a joint effort of Duke Arts, Duke’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship Initiative, Duke Entertainment, Media & Arts Network (DEMAN) and Duke Alumni Association. Duke Arts Studio is managed in collaboration with the Duke Entertainment, Media & Arts Network (DEMAN).
