At Duke, recruitment is the process employers use to connect with students and identify candidates for internships and jobs. These connections can happen through career fairs, employer events, information sessions, networking opportunities, interviews, Career Center hosted events, and opportunities posted through Handshake.
Where Does the Career Center come in?
The Career Center’s Employer Relations team works with employers to create opportunities for them to connect with Duke Students, including career fairs, employer events, and other recruiting activities.
The Career Center also provides resources and guidance to help students navigate these opportunities, from preparing for a career fair to understanding recruiting expectations.
