Apply Now! | Student Council for the Arts and Creative Arts Grants

Duke Arts Creative Arts Grants are provided to help defray fall or spring project expenses of up to $500 for Trinity and Pratt students. Funds are available to purchase approved supplies and equipment for the arts project. Applications will close on September 30 or earlier if funds have been exhausted.

The Student Council for the Arts (SCA), organized by the Office of the Vice Provost for the Arts (Duke Arts), is a group of Duke undergraduate students who serve to promote, enrich, and guide the arts on campus. In an advisory capacity, SCA works with Duke Arts and aims to positively impact the arts landscape at large.

Members of SCA apply for a one-year term each fall and may reapply each year. Meetings are held on a monthly basis during the fall and spring semesters. Beyond regular meetings, members of SCA receive regular invitations to performances and are encouraged to attend special events in the arts.

Questions should be directed to Brandon Gryde, Duke Arts Director of Administration & Special Projects (brandon.gryde@duke.edu). Applications close on October 14, 2026. The first Student Council for the Arts meeting will be in mid-November 2026.
