Exploring Careers: Sustainability & the Environment

In conjunction with the Nicholas School of the Environment’s Internship Week, join us in kicking off Nic ECO with a virtual career panel for Duke undergraduates, graduate students and alumni (up to 5 years post-graduation). Connect with industry professionals to learn about organizations and emerging trends and roles, explore career paths and reflect on how various careers align with interests, skills, and values while considering learning opportunities within a variety of industries. Career Center events are typically recorded and shared through our YouTube channel, website, and social media.

Alumni panelists include:
Gregory Adam Cooper, Conservation Forester at The Nature Conservancy
Hazel Horvath, Founder and CEO of Ecolytics
Temis Coral Castellanos, Senior Sustainability Consultant at John Bearth Environmental
Justin Pearce, Fisheries Management Specialist at NOAA Fisheries
Silvia de Denaro Vieira, Business Operations Manager, Terrafuse AI
Allison Donnelly, Sr. Program Manager of Clean Fuel Vehicles at Pacific Gas and Electric Company
