Then don’t miss out on Industry Insights – Employer Chats for First Year and Sophomore Undergraduate Students!

The Industry Insights event is designed to connect undergraduates with employers who recruit at Duke for career exploration purposes. During this in-person event, employer representatives will be hosting short conversation sessions to answer your questions and share insights about career paths, industry standards, company insights, and advice on how to prepare yourself for internships and professional positions.

Does this sound intimidating or scary? No worries! These chats are designed specifically for you to learn and ask questions in a casual, open and nonjudgmental atmosphere. The sessions are not interviews for internships or employment but rather the opportunity for you to speak candidly with many of the organizations that recruit Duke students. Plus, if you feel overwhelmed or want a quick pep talk, the Career Center’s staff will be available throughout the event.
