Camp Echo is proud of its staff. We go out of our way to make sure we keep the great staff we have, and we spend a large part of the winter months finding new counselors who we think will become a valuable part of the Echo family. What that means for you is that you’ll be working with people who have the experience and expertise to run great programs. We truly know what it’s like to be in your shoes – whether you’re choosing your first summer job, moving on from a much-beloved camp for a new experience, or looking for a career in camp. You’ll find that life as a staff member at Camp Echo is exciting, rewarding, and a ton of fun!
Camp is truly a rewarding job. You will have the chance to make a positive difference in the lives of campers and also other staff members. You’ll be part of a team of friends who support each other all summer long, and you will surely keep some of these friends for the rest of your life. Camp teaches many skills, including, but not limited to being responsible for others, working long days, scheduling your time, teaching subject matter, and public speaking.
