Data Scientist Internship (Fall 2026)

Overview The CITE Foundation is building multi‑therapeutic registries and a Return on Engagement (ROE) model to strengthen trust, equity, and participation in clinical research. We are seeking junior or senior undergraduate students or graduate students with training in data science, statistics, informatics, or related fields to support early registry analytics and ROE model development.
Role Summary The Data Scientist Intern will support exploratory analysis, early modeling, feature engineering, and visualization for registry and community‑level data. This role is ideal for students interested in healthcare analytics, longitudinal data, and measurement development.
Key Responsibilities Conduct exploratory data analysis on registry and community data. Support early modeling and ROE indicator development. Perform feature engineering aligned with clinical and community insights. Create visualizations and dashboards for internal teams. Prepare structured analytic summaries for leadership.
Minimum Qualifications Junior or Senior undergraduate student or graduate student. GPA 3.5 or higher (required). Coursework in data science, statistics, informatics, or related fields. Experience with Python or R and SQL. Interest in healthcare or community‑level analytics.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with modeling or feature engineering. Familiarity with longitudinal or registry‑style data. Exposure to healthcare or social determinants data. Ability to translate analytic findings into clear insights.
