IT Support Specialist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on resolving routine to moderately complex technical issues, assisting end-users, and maintaining system reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to IT support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and application issues following established protocols.
- Address customer requests efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Escalate critical issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Maintain and update documentation to reflect evolving business and technology changes.
- Monitor system health and performance, identifying potential issues before they cause downtime.
- Analyze data to understand business impact and provide insights for process improvements.
- Perform administrative tasks related to IT support as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IT troubleshooting, system monitoring, and technical problem resolution.
- Customer Service: Ability to provide clear technical guidance and support to end-users.
- Software Proficiency: Comfortable navigating common business applications and IT systems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Citrix, VPN, and Microsoft products (Outlook, Teams).
- Familiarity with IT service management tools and call tracking systems.
