We’re a fast-moving startup building a fashion tech platform that is inclusive, intelligent, and delightful. Now we’re looking for a Backend Intern who’s excited about building scalable systems and shipping real impact — fast.
🧠 What You’ll Do
- Work directly with the founding team to design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs
- Develop and optimize Python-based microservices that power core features (try-on, sizing, discount logic, etc.)
- Build and document RESTful APIs to support frontend and third-party integrations
- Assist in deploying services on AWS (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch)
- Collaborate with frontend engineers (React-based) to ensure seamless API consumption
- Contribute to performance tuning, error handling, and logging infrastructure
- Participate in daily standups and product brainstorming sessions
✅ You Might Be a Fit If You:
- Are proficient in Python and familiar with frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django
- Have experience designing or consuming REST APIs
- Understand basic frontend concepts (React/Next.js) and how backends connect to UIs
- Have some hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.)
- Know your way around Git, Docker, and cloud deployment
- Enjoy working in startup-style environments: fast, messy, full of learning
- Are self-driven, communicative, and not afraid to ask questions

- Experience with serverless architecture or GraphQL
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions
- Interest in fashion tech, personalization, or recommender systems
- Previous internship or side project experience with production deployments
