About Midea America
Midea is one of the world’s largest home appliance and technology companies. Midea America Corp. drives the brand’s growth across the U.S. market — from product strategy and retail partnerships to how our appliances reach and delight consumers every day.
About Catalyst
Catalyst is Midea America’s early careers internship — the first stage of our Product & Commercial Talent Pipeline. It’s built on one idea: real work, assigned and owned by a manager, that escalates over 12 weeks from guided shadowing to a deliverable you own and present. At week 10, your manager makes a formal decision on next steps — including potential paths into our full-time commercial organization.
This isn’t a “shadow and coffee-run” internship. You’ll sit in on real meetings, contribute to live projects, and by the end, defend a recommendation to real stakeholders.
What You’ll Gain
- Ownership of a real business deliverable — not a simulated project
- Direct mentorship from a manager and a Talent & Organizational Development sponsor
- A published, transparent capability standard you’re measured against — so you always know where you stand
- A potential pathway into Midea America’s commercial organization, evaluated at your Week 10 conversion checkpoint
Who We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (rising Senior preferred) or Master’s degree; Marketing, Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- Genuine curiosity about consumer products, retail, and how appliances go from factory to home
- Strong written and verbal communication skills — you’ll be presenting to real leaders
- Comfortable with ambiguity and asking questions; takes initiative rather than waiting for instruction
- Analytical mindset — comfortable working with data to support a recommendation
- Available for the full 12-week program, full-time
