Editorial
- Researching, pitching, and writing feature articles
- Conducting Q&A interviews
- Copy editing, fact-checking, and proofreading
- Updating databases of industry contacts
- Reaching out to brands for inclusion in the Shop section
- Updating and managing WordPress content
- Curating monthly music playlists
Business
- Developing business and marketing strategies
- Creating and scheduling social media content (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest)
- Conducting market and competitor research
- Analyzing Google Analytics
Technology
- Uploading images and laying out stories in WordPress
- Cropping and resizing images in Photoshop
- Supporting SEO strategy
- Designing pitch decks for investors
Skills (helpful but not required):
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (a plus)
- Experience in photography, web/interactive design, or related software (an asset but not required)
