We are hiring an Operations Associate to support our efficiency. The Operations Associate will work closely with the administrative team, with the goal of maximizing efficiency and effectiveness throughout the organization.
The Operations Associate will report to the Director of Finance and Operations and work with the development and editorial teams. The position is based at the organization’s headquarters in downtown Omaha. It also requires occasional travel within Nebraska for events throughout the year, including in evenings or on weekends. This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position with scheduling flexibility.
Hours per week: 20-25, with the potential to become fulltime
Location: Omaha, NE- flexible hybrid schedule
Salary Range: $20- $24/ hour
Reports to: Director of Operations and Finance
Key responsibilities
- Broadly support the administrative and editorial teams in their work
- Work with our editors and management team to process payments for freelancers and vendors
- Assist with events throughout the year with logistical support
- Create and process per diem requests for travel
- Process and prepare invoices for our sponsors and work with finance and revenue team to streamline processes
