What You’ll Do

  • Take full responsibility for managing your territory, understanding clients’ needs, and delivering solutions that exceed their expectations.
  • Build and nurture deep relationships with clients to understand their challenges and success metrics.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, web conferencing, and other tools to create opportunities and close deals.
  • Use CRM tools to track activities, manage opportunities, create quotes, and report metrics.
  • Follow and improve established sales processes, taking ownership of their execution and proposing enhancements.
  • Actively seek new clients, identify untapped opportunities, and contribute to the company’s growth.
  • Represent Sorbtech at trade shows as well as on site meetings, demonstrating professionalism and thought leadership.

What You Bring to the Table

  • A bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (chemistry strongly preferred.)
  • Proven sales experience with a relentless “hunter” mentality and drive to exceed goals.
  • Strong verbal and written skills, paired with active listening and problem-solving abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to independently plan, execute, and measure results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools, with a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Desire to take full responsibility for outcomes and advance to leadership roles.

Start Date: Immediate

Salary Range: The base salary is $60K per year, plus an uncapped, generous commission plan. Our compensation offer is based on prior sales experience, documented track record of results, job-related skills, education, and/or chromatography lab experience.

Job Type: Full-time Job Benefits: 401(k) Plan with 3% company contribution, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Long Term Disability Insurance, 3-week PTO, Casual Dress, Monday-Friday daytime hour
