TGA of Fairfax is looking for energetic, dependable, and positive **Youth Sports Coaches** to lead after-school Golf, Tennis, and Pickleball programs at schools throughout Fairfax County and Northern Virginia.
This is a great part-time opportunity for college students interested in education, coaching, sports management, kinesiology, recreation, athletics, or youth development who want hands-on experience working with children.
What You’ll Do
– Lead fun, organized after-school sports sessions for elementary-aged students.
– Teach fundamental skills in Golf, Tennis, and/or Pickleball using TGA’s established curriculum.
– Create a positive environment where children can learn, compete, build confidence, and enjoy being active.
– Manage groups of students safely and effectively.
– Set up and break down equipment before and after each program.
– Communicate professionally with TGA staff, school personnel, parents, and participants.
– Arrive on time and reliably attend your assigned programs throughout the season.
You Do NOT Need to Be an Expert in Every Sport
TGA provides training, curriculum, lesson plans, and equipment.
While experience playing or coaching Golf, Tennis, or Pickleball is a plus, we’re primarily looking for people who are dependable, enthusiastic, coachable, and genuinely enjoy working with children.

Previous experience working with children through coaching, camps, schools, recreation programs, childcare, or similar settings is preferred but not required.
Schedule
Programs are primarily held weekday afternoons after school, making this a great position for students looking for flexible part-time work around their class schedule.
Coaches may work multiple programs per week based on their availability, with opportunities for additional coaching through camps, special events, and other TGA programs.
