The Mint Julep Boutique, LLC. – Auburn, AL

We are seeking:

The Mint Julep Boutique is looking for a full-time Photoshoot Coordinator to work with the Buying and Creative teams in all matters related to photo shoots. This position will be responsible for but not limited to scheduling and managing shoot calendars, responding to shoot requests, and confirming bookings and schedules with all parties involved.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all photo shoot responsibilities of all photography projects
  • Partner with Digital Content Coordinator, Brand Manager, and Buying Manager to confirm photo shoot dates, locations, and required models
  • Coordinate and plan all photo shoots including but not limited to communicating with model agencies, photographers, shoot locations, booking traveling accommodations when needed, etc
  • Contact and secure permission to shoot on location from proper owners/authorities, accurately describing shoot needs and on-site personnel
  • Attend all photo shoots and partner with photographers and stylist on the shoot to ensure accuracy of photos according to brand guide and styling direction
  • Direct photographer and models on photoshoots based on art direction and brand guide
  • Manage images post-photoshoot, including reshoots, rush images, color swatching and color corrections
  • Additional responsibilities assigned by Brand Manager as necessary
  • Build and maintain collaborative and effective relationships

Qualifications:

We employ highly motivated people who work hard and love what they do. A successful applicant for this role will be someone who is passionate about event planning and fashion photo shoots, that’s highly self-motivated, and thrives on effective communication. (S)he must also be a fast-paced worker and self-starter who can clearly deliver styling direction based on brand guide and Brand Manager’s art direction.

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or Marketing preferred
  • Minimum 1 – 2 years professional experience
  • Project management experience and flexibility in accommodating frequently changing schedules
  • Organized leader (able to initiate)
  • Detail oriented
  • Great communicator
  • E-commerce photo shoot experience a plus
  • Video/ Photographer experience a plus
