Cryptologic Warfare Officers (CWOs) play a pivotal role in Naval operations, delivering critical information to decision-makers by attacking, defending, and exploiting networks to identify vulnerabilities within the information domain. As a CWO, you will leverage a deep understanding of sensors, weapons, strategies, tactics, and national systems to enhance operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

Collecting, processing, analyzing, and reporting real-time signal intelligence.

Conducting computer network operations (CNO).

Developing and acquiring advanced exploitation and defense systems.

Planning and executing information warfare effects during military exercises and operations.

Leading Information Warfare personnel through a range of military operations.

Work Environment:

Cryptologic Warfare Officers serve both afloat and ashore, including:

Rotating between sea, shore, and educational tours.

Serving at National Security Agency Cryptologic Centers.

Deploying aboard ships, submarines, and aircraft.

Supporting Naval Special Warfare.

Assignments from the National Security Agency to the Pentagon.

Qualifications & Requirements:

A degree from a four-year college or university in a technical field (preferred fields: information systems, electrical engineering, computer engineering, information operations, computer science, systems engineering, or general engineering).

U.S. citizenship.

Willingness to serve worldwide.

Eligibility for a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance.

Qualification for sea duty.
