2024 Senior Outcomes.
Each year, the Duke Career Center conducts surveys to compile data on the post-graduation plans of graduating seniors. These surveys delve into employment and enrollment in graduate/professional programs among recent bachelor's degree recipients, aiming to guage post-graduation outcome rates.
Data collection extends up to six months after graduation, with results shared the following spring.
We are excited to present the impressive outcomes of the Class of 2024.
Outcome Types. 77% Employed Full-Time. 20% Continuing Education. 1.5% military or volunteer service. 1.5% still seeking or not seeking. 
Of the 1022 students surveyed 98.5% (based on a 86% knowledge rate) reported being employed, enrolled in graduate school, or participating in military or volunteer service.
Top Industries. 19% Finance. 12% Business & Management Consulting. 16% Computers, IT & Technology. 10% Healthcare & Medicine. 5% Engineering, Architecture, Design. 6% Education. 4% Science or Research.
Students were hired by 602 unique employers/organizations. 53 hired three or more students. 12 hired 10 or more students. 
Top Ten Employers. Capital One, JP Morgan Chase, Bain & Company, McKinsey & Company, Microsoft, Duke University, Meta, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Duke Health.
15% of students surveyed will stay at Duke.
Top Five Graduate Schools. Duke University, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Stanford University, Harvard University, Columbia University.
Top locations Duke students live after graduating. 
U.S. New York, North Carolina, California, Massachusetts, District of Columbia.
Outside U.S. England, France, Germany, Canada, Spain.
