Summer Internship Program – Multiple Disciplines
Location: Lutz, FL (In Office)
Schedule: 20 hours per week
Compensation: $15/hour
Duration: Summer Internship
About the Opportunity
VOLT Lighting is seeking motivated, curious, and driven students to join our Summer Internship Program. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience, contribute to meaningful projects, and learn how a fast-growing eCommerce business operates across departments.
We are currently welcoming interns in the following areas:
• Administrative / Business Operations
• Sales (Inside & Retail Support)
• Marketing (Digital, Content, eCommerce)
• Electrical Engineering / Product Development
• Web & App Development / IT
What You’ll Do
Responsibilities will vary based on your area of focus but may include:
• Support day-to-day operations within your assigned department
• Assist with projects that directly impact business performance and efficiency
• Conduct research, data analysis, and reporting
• Collaborate cross-functionally with team members and leadership
• Learn and utilize company systems (NetSuite, eCommerce platforms, reporting tools, etc.)
• Present ideas, insights, or project updates to your manager
What We’re Looking For
• Currently enrolled in a college or university program (rising juniors/seniors preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks
• Interest in eCommerce, technology, or manufacturing is a plus
Preferred Skills by Area (Not Required)
Administrative: Microsoft Office, organization, attention to detail
Sales: Customer service, communication, relationship building
Marketing: Social media, content creation, analytics, SEO
Engineering: CAD, electrical fundamentals, product design
Web/App Development: HTML/CSS, JavaScript, or similar technologies
