“To compile this sixth annual ranking, Forbes again partnered with market research firm Statista and surveyed over 28,000 young and early career professionals (defined as those with less than 10 years of work experience) in the U.S. working for companies with at least 1,000 employees. Respondents were asked to rate their employer in areas such as reputation, salary and benefits, education and career advancement opportunities, working hours and atmosphere, quality of work, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), whether good performance is recognized and whether they would recommend their employer to friends and family. Survey respondents were also asked to evaluate other employers within their industry. The 300 companies with the highest scores made the final list.

This year, the healthcare and social sector and education organizations are the most represented, with each of these industries accounting for about 12% of the list. Banking and financial services companies are the third most represented, totaling about 7% of the list. Less prominently featured are companies in more than 20 other industries, including aerospace and defense, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, retail and wholesale, insurance and utilities.”
