Are you curious about job opportunities outside of the USA? If so, our “Global Job Search” video series is for you! In the “Global Job Search” series, in-country experts provide advice on applying for jobs and answer key questions, including:

  • Where can I learn more about visas and employment pathways for non-citizens in this country?

In our first video, our partners at Duke Kunshan University Career Services highlight the differences between job searching in the USA and China. They discuss all aspects of the search and provide some of their best advice.

Rex Zhang is an Officer of Career Service with DKU Career Services. Before joining DKU, Rex served as Senior Brand Manager in a well-known FMCG company, and as an instructor for an entrepreneurship course. He is passionate about education, leadership development, and diversity, equity and inclusion. Rex received his bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley.

Mengran Lyu is a Career Services Assistant with DKU Career Services. Mengran has experiences in program coordination and event planning. She has a master’s degree in translation and had participated in the UN document translation program in Soochow University.
