This LinkedIn feature will bring you a 100% response rate from recruiters and hiring managers for the jobs and opportunities you are targeting (from a LinkedIn employee + with free networking templates and career resources):

The hardest thing in a job search or even if you are applying to a university / opportunity is NETWORKING. Knowing the right person will change everything. This is how you can find the right people and get a response:

1. Go to the LinkedIn search bar and type relevant keywords to your search.
๐Ÿ”‘ Type ‘hiring’ + your location + your industry / job you are targeting
๐Ÿ“Œ In my case: hiring Dublin sales

2. Press ‘posts’ under the search bar to look for posts across LinkedIn with those filtering options

3. You will already find posts from people who are hiring and who want to support job seekers + recruiters and hiring managers recruiting
๐Ÿ”‘ Reaching out to people who are already offering to help will drastically increase your chances of getting a response
๐Ÿ“Œ Right at the top, I found a job from a sales executive at Salesforce who is offering to give referrals

4. You can further filter down results by pressing on ‘All Filters’ on the right.
๐Ÿ”‘You can filter by content type, time, etc
๐Ÿ“ŒOne of my favorites here is ‘author company’. You can select Google or Meta for example and only get posts from people who work there

5. Keep changing your keywords and filters to find relevant posts. Stay patient and save any posts that are helpful
๐Ÿ”‘ Try searching for posts related to job openings you are planning to apply to (the team, hiring manager, or recruiter have posted about it on LI)

6. Organize your posts into people who can refer you and recruiters / hiring managers
๐Ÿ”‘ Referrals (people who work at the company) need to take place BEFORE you apply. However, you should reach out to recruiters and the hiring managers AFTER you apply. Plan according

7. Reach out to everyone with a PERSONALIZED MESSAGE highlighting that you have applied and WHY you are the best candidate
๐Ÿ“Œ Utilize NUMBERS and IMPACT here to stand out “600% account growth” or previous companies you worked for

Template for recruiters and hiring managers: Hi [Name], I saw your call for the role [job name]. I have just applied and I find that I am a perfect candidate for this position from [result or number] at [previous experience]. I would appreciate if you could have a look at my application ๐Ÿ™‚ I appreciate your time!

8. Repeat with fingers crossed you get an interview. Have a look at the rest of my free job searching resources on all things interviewing, networking, and resumes in the comments!๐Ÿ‘‡
