The Internship Funding Program (OPEN NOW)

Duke University’s Career Center is paving the way for student success with its Internship Funding Program for Undergraduate Students. This summer initiative offers financial support to students undertaking unpaid or low-paying internships in their chosen fields of study.

The program provides grants of $4,000 to students, aiming to alleviate the financial barriers associated with pursuing valuable internship experiences.

Open to all Duke undergraduate students, the program requires applicants to secure a relevant internship and submit a detailed proposal outlining their plans. A committee rigorously reviews these proposals, ensuring funds go to those committed to their academic and career goals.

By removing financial constraints, the Internship Funding Program empowers students to engage in transformative internships. The real-world exposure enhances their academic learning, provides a competitive edge, and opens doors to future career opportunities.

The Internship Funding Program is a catalyst for student success, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world applications. Through collaborative efforts and generous donations, the program continues to empower students to pursue meaningful internships, shaping them into well-rounded and competitive professionals.

**Award recipients will not be performing any compensatory work for or on behalf of Duke University.**
