Opportunity for Duke Students to Attend Learning Program in Jiangsu, China

Duke Kunshan University and the Jiangsu Foreign Affairs Office have developed a Cultural and Experiential Learning Program for U.S. College Students. The program will take place from August 2nd – Aug 10th, 2024.

Overview:

Activities will include cultural tours across Shanghai, Kunshan, Suzhou, and Nanjing, involving field research, seminars and sharing sessions. Click here for a tentative agenda.

Eligibility:

  • 20 spots are reserved for Duke students
  • Undergraduate, Master’s and Doctoral students are all eligible for this opportunity
  • Students who are eager to learn about China and Chinese cultures will be given preference

Cost:

  • The organizers of the program will cover all the basic costs during the event (such as insurance, local transportation, accommodation, meals, etc.)
  • Students are responsible for international airfares and other personal expenses

*Note: DKU is seeking sponsorship opportunity to cover the international airfare expenses and will keep applicants informed on updates
