2024 Duke Nature Keynote

Duke Conservation Society is very excited to announce the 2024 Duke Nature Keynote.

Duke Nature is an interdisciplinary program that spotlights the integration of the natural world at Duke University. Conceptualized by students and supported by faculty and staff, this program is a curated line up inviting campus leaders to share unique experiences and acquired wisdom with greater Durham, Beaufort, and Kunshan communities. Duke Nature program coming soon!

The Keynote features three esteemed Duke alumni: Frank BiasiShannon Switzer Swanson, PhD, and Catherine Workman. These speakers are linked not only by their contributions as former students at Duke, but also by impacting global audiences for scientific communication at National Geographic.

This talk show-styled event will encourage dialogue for safeguarding the planet’s ecological diversity and cultural richness.

Each speaker will be on stage individually for 20 minutes, followed by a 15 minute Q&A with all three.

Registration is open to all!: https://lnkd.in/etNY2iEf

This event is sponsored by: Duke Conservation Society, Office of Climate and Sustainability, Duke Alumni Engagement and Development, and Duke Graduate and Professional Student Government (GPSG)
