We throw a FREE ANNUAL EVENT with the biggest and best possible act, funded by each school’s ads at every campus.
Every community is run by students and is a trusted one-stop shop for quality content, news, and resources.
Our unique Non-profit media ecosystem aligns incentives, keeps students engaged, and ensures our audience is ready to support their sponsors.
We are seeking page managers who’ll wear multiple hats (Team leaders, content creators, SMB ad sales professionals, event planners, merch designers, journalists, group chat administrators, content curators, and video editors.) You’re in charge, and are expected to act as an owner of your schools page. We’ll give you the power to hire and delegate for maximal results and efficiency.
We are a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit but we believe in fair pay and generating significance revenue. We believe in aligned incentives and are offering a 20% revenue split with students running each page. As a partner, you’ll get a share of revenue from merchandise, ads and promos that your assigned media properties generate. One of our core KPIs is how much we payout to college students. The more successful you are the more you’ll make and the more Best 4 Years can give back to your campus. The sky is the limit.
As an added perk, Best 4 Years makes you the person on campus with all the hookups for free stuff, meals, deals, giveaways, and free trials from local businesses and brand partners. You’ll also be the go to person for content opportunities.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
– Should be funny, hardworking, outgoing, and well-connected on campus.
– This person should be familiar with and stay up-to-date on current trends on campus and in pop culture (memes, music, sports, social apps, TV, campus events, slang, etc.)
– This person should have a good feel for what’s happening on campus each day and be highly motivated and entrepreneurial.
– You don’t have to be a social media or sales wizard; we can help you in that department. We value unique talents such as video editing, graphic design, content creation, and connections just as much as anything else.
– The more roles you can fill and the harder you work, the more potential for upside you’ll have.
STARTING RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quantity, quality, consistency, and engaging content are key to growing a page and driving revenue.
– Find & post relevant pictures to post in carousels, 2/day.
– Find relevant TikToks and reels to repost, 4/day.
– Filter and search the DMs, campus group chats, tik tok and insta and curate the best content to post
– Gather and capture viral photos and videos from major parties, tailgates, social events, campus activities, spring break, and more.
– Moderate the campus group chat (remove the crazies and lunatics) and drive discussions to generate content submissions.
– Appoint & hire admins to the discord and groupme.
– Conduct man-on-the-street interviews on campus and at bars, tailgates, and parties.
– Maintain 5 top highlights on instagram (this is valuable digital real estate) and is important to our advertisers and thus the monetization of the pages.
– Choose the best answers to repost from Q&A advice, confessions, etc.
– Follow classmates who engage with posts.
– Edit montages/recaps of weekend submissions
-Place stickers in high traffic areas around campus to market the page.
-Give away, lighters, rolling papers, and koozies to people are following Best 4 Years and have notifications on.
MONETIZATION STRATEGY:
We see a clear path to $3-10k per month in (MRR) per page depending on school size, if best practices are followed and high-quality UGC is produced.
Your Role In Monetization:
– Maintain a positive relationship and produce content deliverables for 3-5 local businesses.
– Update links and content for our network wide brand deals, across all socials.
– Design school-specific merchandise.
– Post featured paid submissions
– Prospect new opportunities and business
