We’re looking for a Virtual Care intern to join the Digital Health team within the Innovation and Digital Health Accelerator (IDHA) at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Digital Health
The Digital Health Team is responsible for sourcing, launching, and scaling new digital innovations across the enterprise. We are a mission-driven team with diverse backgrounds- including product managers, strategists, and clinicians, and are passionate about leveraging digital to build the care delivery model of the future.c
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with gathering hospital data and testimonials on the impact of digital health products to support Boston Children’s Government Relations advocacy efforts
- Engage in telehealth informational and advocacy events
- Develop educational materials on the state and federal telehealth reimbursement landscape
- Conduct and report on comparative research related to telehealth regulatory considerations
- Assist with cross-team collaboration to review the latest digital health payor policy updates
- Provide occasional and ad hoc support with the Virtual Care team as requested
Project details:
- Reimbursement Landscape Analysis
- Review and compile key market regulatory updates related to digital health products
- Develop a digital health reimbursement tracker
- Digital Health Legislative Advocacy
- Assist with gathering relevant information to inform stakeholders of digital health innovation efforts
- Develop internal and external telehealth advocacy educational materials
- Support as needed on other projects and tasks
Relevant Experience & Qualifications
- Current or recent undergraduates with a strong academic record and strong interest in business, healthcare, and/or technology and, most importantly, innovation
- Background in healthcare, public health, health policy, statistics, business, or related fields
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills – proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- A self-starter, able to shift between projects and able to work independently
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with a variety of program stakeholders
- Demonstrates a positive, open-minded, can-do attitude while being collaborative, inclusive, and team-oriented
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Desire to learn

- The intern will receive guidance and 1:1 support
- Location: Intern may work hybrid, with the expectation that interns attend most onsite Tuesdays. Interns must be located in approved New England states: MA, RI, CT, ME, or NH.
