Interdisciplinary spaces (e.g., clubs, classes, units, or schools) expand your network of helpful humans. The resources offered by Duke are the reason for the season, and alumni connections are a part of it. You do not have to silently wonder if it’s been done, ask one of 190,000 alumni. Ask A Blue Devil and use your profile on alumni.duke.edu to start connecting with alumni. Did you see a club or department putting on an event you’re interested in? Go to it. Be accepting if they cannot accommodate you at the door, but people will often make room.”
